Who we are

PT Bali Ecohome operates BaliEcoHome and is the data controller responsible for the personal data described here. We are an architecture and construction studio based in Bali, Indonesia, serving clients who want to buy, build, sell, or lease eco homes.

What data we collect

We collect only the data we need to run the service and respond to you. This includes:

• Google account profile. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from your Google profile.
• Contact details. Name, email address, and WhatsApp number that you give us in forms or messages.
• Project inputs. Prompts, preferences, and design briefs you enter into the AI studio.
• Usage data. Pages visited, actions taken, device and browser information, and approximate location derived from your IP address, collected through analytics.
• Payment data. Handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.

Why we process your data

We use personal data for these purposes:

• To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
• To generate and store your AI design concepts.
• To respond to enquiries and provide consultations about buying, building, selling, or leasing.
• To take payment for plans and credits.
• To measure and improve the service, and to keep it safe from abuse.
• With your consent, to show and measure advertising on Google, Meta, and TikTok.

Legal basis

Under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Undang-Undang Nomor 27 Tahun 2022, UU PDP), we rely on:

• Consent for optional analytics, advertising, and marketing messages.
• Performance of a contract to give you access to the account, the AI studio, and paid features.
• Legitimate interest and legal obligation for security, fraud prevention, accounting, and record keeping.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it with service providers (data processors) who help us run BaliEcoHome. Each processes data under a contract and only on our instructions:

• Midtrans for payment processing.
• Google for sign-in, advertising, and analytics.
• Meta and TikTok for advertising and campaign measurement.
• Vercel for website hosting and delivery.
• Supabase for our database and authentication.
• PostHog for product analytics.
• Sentry for error monitoring.

We may also disclose data where required by Indonesian law or a valid legal request.

Cross-border transfer

Some of these providers store or process data on servers outside Indonesia. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we take steps required by UU PDP, including ensuring the destination offers an adequate level of protection or is bound by contractual safeguards. By using the service and giving consent where asked, you understand that your data may be processed outside Indonesia.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by Indonesian tax and company law. Account and project data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure. Analytics and advertising data is retained for shorter periods set by each provider. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under UU PDP you have the right to:

• Be informed about how your data is used.
• Access and obtain a copy of your data.
• Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete your data, subject to legal retention rules.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive your data in a portable format where applicable.
• Lodge a complaint and seek remedy for misuse of your data.

How to exercise your rights

Email us at hello@baliecohome.com or message us on WhatsApp. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by law. You can also change analytics and advertising consent at any time through our cookie settings.

Children

BaliEcoHome is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service and the law evolve. We will post the new version here with a revised date. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
